PROCUREMENT ANALYST (BUYER I): Washington County 2020-21

– Managed a portfolio of 20+ vendor contracts with a collective annual spend in the millions of dollars by maintaining cooperative and productive working relationships with external and internal customers. – Used established policies & procedures to create, update and maintain multidepartment purchase orders and vendor records within the county accounting software. – Significantly decreased the county’s e-waste by piloting a sustainability initiative involving a cross-department coalition, which in turn, established a strategic partnership with Free Geek Oregon an NPO. – Provided multi-department support and customer service to internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement, vendor contracts, and purchase orders. – Conducted research and analysis regarding supplies, services, equipment, intergovernmental purchasing agreements, federal and state legislation, laws, and policies, or other managerial requests.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST: West Linn-Wilsonville School District Accounts 2020

– Performed AP tasks and other duties as assigned in an accurate and timely manner. – Matched, posted, and processed 50-100 invoices per week using accounting software. – Processed monthly P-Card (credit card) accounts. Ensured expense coding, collection of receipts, internal controls, and policies were adhered to. Researched and followed up on any discrepancies. – Ensured internal controls were maintained during month-end disbursements. Subsequently, batch posted transactions to the general ledger, performed check runs (printing & mailing), and made ACH bank transfers. – Provided customer support for other departments, managers, and supervisors regarding purchase requisitions, PO revisions, general ledger, P-cards, and complex reports from the accounting system.
